Where the Locals Go

Brunch

The weekends call for something special and brunch always fits the bill.

  • Cafecito—The light and plant-filled space is a welcome sign to visitors of this Argentinean-centric restaurant. Sunday Brunch includes their signature empanadas, omelet, chilaquiles, granola, Argentinean breakfast, medialuna and more.

  • Cowgirl—Live music brunch every Sunday. A very popular spot for locals and music lovers.

  • Dolina—They proclaim to have a modern American brunch menu with Eastern European influences. This lively and bold menu has enough classics to appeal to everyone.

  • Harry’s Roadhouse—There’s never a time when there’s not a wait at Harry’s, but this consistently good restaurant with homemade food and fair prices keeps the locals and the tourists in the know returning time and again.

  • Mille-Wait a sec, are we in France or Santa Fe? With Mille it gets pretty darn confusing. Marcel Remillieux owner of Mille, a French café and crêperie located in the heart of downtown Santa Fe, has pretty much blown away the entire town with his incredibly authentic French cuisine. People can’t stop raving about his food and his friendly local vibe. Get off of the internet and go now.

  • Museum Hill Cafe—This upscale but casual lunch spot offers sandwiches, salads and New Mexican food, plus a wine list and Sunday brunch.

  • Pranzo—This new location serves Sunday brunch starting at 10:30 am, which is the perfect time for a mimosa.

  • Santacafe—Though it’s not brunch, they serve lunch starting at 11:30 am on the weekends, so it’s close enough. The menu will have everyone at the table pleased with the choices.

  • The Chocolate Maven—Weekends call for something special and The Chocolate Maven delivers. For the young and young at heart, diners will savor this unique experience. Be sure and take home some of the delicious baked goods that fill the lobby.

  • The Teahouse—From seven different varieties of eggs Benedict to bowls to daily quiche, their menu also includes granola, oatmeal, waffles, and lox, and bagels. Treat yourself to a pot of specialty tea to share.

  • Zacatlan—Located off Guadalupe, this small but mighty Mexican restaurant serves brunch from 10:30 am until 2:30 pm on the weekends. Classic chilaquiles verdes, mole negro or rojos are enough to keep hungry customers coming back for more.
