For a cozy romantic steak and seafood dinner for two or a lively happy hour from 4-6, Dinner for Two is the Santa Fe hot spot!
Behind the adobe walls, local owner Andy Barnes and attentive crew greet you with a graceful beehive of activity; the bar is purposeful, small, and efficient with bartender pros, and with a view of the throw-down activity in the open flamed kitchen. The high tops by the window fill up with 2 tops and the blue lights make it feel like a lounge with big specialty cocktails.
Reminds me of a quaint NYC Greenwich Village bar and grill with a downtown vibe and this repeat customer’s favorite seafood eats!
For the happy hour fare, I order the perfect Love Bubble Margarita for $8, Truffle oyster mushroom soup for $6 (its so warm earthy, and hearty), and Blue Crab cakes for $7 (truly my home base Maryland style), or tempura salmon fish with shoestring truffle and garlic fries good to share.
For more drama, there is a table-side prepared Caesar salad and even a Flaming Bananas Foster for two. Dinner for Two has a good wine list, affordable good eats for real foodies, and always makes you feel special and that’s romantic!
